Program Overview
The MSci Medical Science program is a full-time, four-year course of study that delves into the biomedical sciences to provide a deep understanding of the body's functions and diseases. Students have the option to study medical science across the system or specialize in a specific area, such as pharmacology, biochemistry, or microbiology. Alternatively, they can focus on a specific career path with the Physician Associate or Biomedical Science degrees.

Research and Facilities
Students will conduct research and laboratory studies in the new, £60m Health and Life Sciences building, which features:

Faculty and Partnerships
The program has been developed in partnership with local NHS healthcare trusts and hospitals to ensure that students acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for a career in healthcare. Students will be taught by experienced NHS staff and academics whose research has improved outcomes and understanding in the sector.

The university has a well-established network of clinical partners hosted on campus and regionally, including the Royal Berkshire Hospital and Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust, as well as local bio and pharma industries.
