Overview
The PGCert Introduction to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (non-clinical) course is focused on teaching evidence-based psychological interventions within a range of mental health problems. Run by the Charlie Waller Institute (CWI) for Evidence-based Psychological Treatment, this course is suitable as an introduction for new professionals in the area of mental health, as well as existing therapists who wish to update their knowledge within evidence-based practice.
Structure
- The course is part-time and lasts for 12 months.

Entry Requirements
- Normally, a relevant undergraduate degree and a postgraduate qualification within a mental health profession are required.
- Applicants without these qualifications but with clinical experience in mental health will also be considered.
- International students may need to complete a Pre-sessional English Programme to meet the degree programme's English language requirements.
