Introduction to the Ice Cream Course
The Ice Cream sector in the UK has undergone significant transformation in recent years, driven by the development of new and innovative product lines and the emergence of new businesses. Today, sales of luxury ice creams, which were at very low levels until the early 1990s, now represent the fastest growing sector of the ice cream market.
Course Overview
The Ice Cream Course (ICC) is a three-day program that consists of both theory and practical sessions. Delegates will gain a comprehensive understanding of the issues involved in making ice cream and frozen desserts, as well as valuable hands-on experience of manufacturing techniques using extensive pilot plant facilities.
Course Structure
- The course covers both theoretical and practical aspects of ice cream and frozen dessert production.
- Delegates will have access to equipment for both batch and continuous ice cream making.
- A fourth day can be booked to allow delegates to work on their own formulation.
