Course Overview

The Dutch language course for German speakers is designed to help participants build their vocabulary and understand how the language works. The course focuses on speaking and listening skills, with additional work on grammar, reading, and writing skills.

Course Details

• From beginners to proficiency level (A2 C1)
• English CEFR level B1 is a requirement
• 14 sessions of 2 hours each
• Groups of about 12-14 students
• Starts 4 times per year
• 4 hours of independent study preparation per lesson
• Certificate upon completion

• Course material is not included in the course fee

Course Structure

The course is conducted in Dutch by a native speaker, with a focus on speaking and listening skills. Reading and writing are supporting skills that are mainly practiced at home. Additional work on grammar, as well as reading and writing skills, will support participants in the language learning process.

Language Centre

The Language Centre is the centre of expertise for language training, academic language skills, and (inter)cultural communication competences.
