Master of Accountancy Online Program
The Master of Accountancy (MAcc) online program from the Harbert College of Business at Auburn University offers students the flexibility to earn their degree from the comfort of their own homes. This program is designed for working professionals and can be completed in as few as two years (five semesters of two classes) while working full-time. Students also have the option to pursue the degree full-time and complete it in as quick as 12 months.
Program Overview
The online MAcc degree offers the same instruction, faculty, assignments, and exams as the on-campus program. The courses prepare students to successfully pass the CPA Exam and strengthen their technical, research, and communication skills, resulting in an AACSB-accredited degree.
MAcc Options
There are two MAcc options available:
- Traditional MAcc: This version of the MAcc is 30-semester hours and is designed for students who already hold an undergraduate degree in accounting (or equivalent).
- Expanded MAcc: This version of the MAcc is up to 42-semester hours and is designed for students who hold a degree in any discipline plus completion of the eight business foundation core classes.
