Exercise, Performance & Health Optimization MS

The Exercise, Performance & Health Optimization MS program is offered with two options: thesis and non-thesis.

Thesis Option

The thesis option requires the following courses:

• KINE 6400: Exercise Assessment, Prescription, & Programming (3 hours)
• KINE 7010: Research Methods in Physical Activity (3 hours)
• KINE 7630: Strength & Conditioning Preparation (3 hours)
• KINE 7680: Advanced Physiology of Exercise I (3 hours)
• KINE 7990: Research and Thesis (6 hours)
• Select Advisor Approved 10-14 Credits (15 hours) Total Hours: 33

Non-Thesis Option

The non-thesis option requires the following courses:

• KINE 6400: Exercise Assessment, Prescription, & Programming (3 hours)
• KINE 7010: Research Methods in Physical Activity (3 hours)
• KINE 7630: Strength & Conditioning Preparation (3 hours)
• KINE 7680: Advanced Physiology of Exercise I (3 hours)
• Select Advisor Approved 16-20 Credits (21 hours) Total Hours: 33
