Program Overview

The Business and Marketing Education program is designed to prepare students for careers in teaching business and marketing at the secondary level. The program includes coursework in business education, teaching methods, and business administration.

Admission Requirements

Applicants to the Business and Marketing Education program must satisfy the Graduate School's admission requirements. Departmental admission requirements include:

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Meeting current ALSDE or Program GPA requirements at the time of unconditional admissions

Degree Requirements

Degree requirements for the Business and Marketing Education program are in compliance with regulations established by the ALSBE. The program requires:

• A minimum of 30 semester hours
• A comprehensive examination
