Admission Criteria

• Children must be potty-trained by the beginning of classes

  • 2-Day (Tuesday/Thursday): $90 (morning or afternoon only), $180 (full day)
  • 3-Day (Monday/Wednesday/Friday): $120 (morning or afternoon only), $240 (full day)
  • 5-Day: $180 (morning or afternoon only), $360 (full day)
• Monthly Tuition Rate:
  • 2-Day (Tuesday/Thursday): $230 (morning or afternoon only), $285 (morning or afternoon + lunch), $515 (full day)
  • 3-Day (Monday/Wednesday/Friday): $295 (morning or afternoon only), $365 (morning or afternoon + lunch), $660 (full day)
  • 5-Day: $455 (morning or afternoon only), $570 (morning or afternoon + lunch), $1025 (full day)
• Payment Terms: Tuition may be paid up-front or in monthly installments, with a 10% discount on tuition for siblings attending concurrently

Woodland Wonders First Class Nature Pre-K

The Woodland Wonders First Class Nature Pre-K is a tuition-free program recognized as a State of Alabama First Class Pre-K. The program is designed for children aged 4 years old (as of September 1) and operates on a lottery selection basis.

Program Details

• Age Range: 4 years old (as of September 1)
• Class Size: Up to 12 students
• Teacher-Student Ratio: 1:6
• Curriculum: Emergent (child-led) and fully nature-based
• Schedule: 5-day option, with classes meeting from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Duration: Full 9-month school year

Admission Criteria

• Pre-registration takes place through the State of Alabama's website during the registration period in January, February, and March of each year
• A lottery drawing is held in early March to determine the 12 students who will be enrolled in the program

Calendar

• The 2025/2026 school year begins on August 13, 2025, and ends on May 15, 2026
• Classes meet every day of the week, with families able to choose from various schedule options

Registration and Enrollment

• Registration requires a $50 non-refundable deposit
• Families must complete required forms and attend a meet-and-greet session with the education director
• Tuition and supplies fees are due before the start of classes, with payment plans available for monthly installments.
