The Discovery Hikes program is designed for families and children to explore nature at the Kreher Preserve & Nature Center. The program offers guided hikes with a trained naturalist, providing opportunities for hands-on learning, exploration, and exercise.

Schedule
The guided Discovery Hikes are offered on the second Thursday of each month from 8:30 9:30 a.m.
Topics
The program features a different topic each month, chosen from a variety of seasonal themes, including:
- January: Groundhogs
- February: Heart Healthy
- March: Geology
- April: Water Wonders
- May: Bluebirds
Participation
The program is open to families and other adults accompanying children. No pre-registration is required.
Location
The hikes are offered at the Kreher Preserve & Nature Center, located at 2222 N. College Street, Auburn. The nature center is situated 3 miles north of Toomer's Corner.
Admission
The hikes are free to the public, although donations are welcomed.
Cancellation Policy
The hikes are canceled in the event of rain.
