The B.Sc. Med Program is designed for undergraduate medical students, offering the opportunity to engage in two summer terms of research. This program allows students to review posted abstracts from potential supervisors or pursue their own projects.

Cost and Payment Information

• Students receive a stipend of $7,500 per summer term, inclusive of a two-week vacation period.
• There are no additional fees for participation in the program.

Credit and Recognition

• The program appears as B.Sc. Med on the student's transcript.
• It is also noted on the Medical Student Performance Record (MSPR).

Research Opportunities and Awards

• Travel awards, prizes, and scholarships are available for outstanding B.Sc. Med students.
• These awards are specifically for projects addressing certain research topics.

Application Process

• Research applications must be submitted online, jointly with the supervisor, by December 3rd of the preceding year.
