Summer Student Program
The Summer Student Program offers students a meaningful summer placement in an Ongomiizwin Health Services community, providing firsthand experience with northern and Indigenous health.
About the Program
The program places students in a community for ten to twelve weeks over the summer months. Students are placed in Ongomiizwin Health Services communities based on availability of accommodations and clinical space and capacity.
Eligibility
The Summer Student Program is open to Med I and II students enrolled at the University of Manitoba.
