Applied Mathematics with Statistics Option, B.Sc. Major

The Applied Mathematics with Statistics Option, B.Sc. Major program is designed to provide students with a sound understanding of applied mathematics and statistics. Program Description

The program consists of 120 credit hours, with a minimum of 48 credit hours in Mathematics and Statistics courses. Students must complete a series of required courses, including Linear Algebra, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, and Probability and Statistics.


Admission Requirements

To enter the Applied Mathematics with Statistics Option, B.Sc. Major program, students must have a minimum grade of "C+" in MATH 1232 or a minimum grade of "B" in MATH 1700, and have satisfied all faculty requirements for entry to the program.

Co-operative Education Option

A co-operative education option is available for students in the Applied Mathematics with Statistics Option, B.Sc. Major program. This option allows students to gain practical work experience in their field of study.
