The Bachelor of Kinesiology degree is a four-year program that provides students with a comprehensive education in the field of kinesiology. The program is designed to prepare students for careers in kinesiology, physical education, and related fields.

The Kinesiology, B.Kin. program is offered by the Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management. The program provides students with a strong foundation in the sciences, social sciences, and humanities, as well as specialized courses in kinesiology.
Degree Requirements
To graduate with a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree, students must complete 120 credit hours of coursework, including:
- 30 credit hours in the first year, including:

- BIOL 1412: Physiology of the Human Body
- KPER 1200: Physical Activity, Health and Wellness
- KPER 1500: Foundations of Physical Education and Kinesiology

Supervised Fieldwork Experience
The supervised fieldwork experience is a professionally supervised experience that provides students with the opportunity to apply knowledge gained in academic courses and gives exposure to a workplace environment in a related field.
Degree Exit Requirement
Students enrolled in all undergraduate degree programs must provide proof of valid CPR and First Aid certification to the Faculty General Office prior to an upcoming graduation date.
Admission Requirements
The admission requirements for the Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management include:
- Direct Entry (from High School): Students must have a minimum 85% average over the required courses, with no less than 60% in each individual course.
- Regular Advanced Entry Admission: Students must have completed a minimum of 24 credit hours of coursework, including the required courses listed below.
- Kinesiology/Kinesiology-Athletic Therapy/Physical Education Admission Requirements:
- BIOL 1410: Anatomy of the Human Body (minimum grade of C)
- BIOL 1412: Physiology of the Human Body (minimum grade of C)
- KPER 1500: Foundations of Physical Education and Kinesiology (minimum grade of C)
- 15 additional credit hours
- Recreation Management and Community Development Admission Requirements:
- 24 credit hours completed

Faculty Academic Regulations
The Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management has regulations and requirements that apply specifically to its students, including:
- Policy on Minimum Grade in Faculty Required Courses: A minimum grade of "C" is required to pass all faculty required courses within the degree program.
- Scholastic Standards: Academic Assessment: Students will be assessed at the end of each term, and their status will be determined as minimum met, satisfactory, on probation, suspension warning, or academic suspension.
- Dean's Honour List: Students who achieve a Term GPA of 3.50 or higher will be placed on the Dean's Honour List.
- University Gold Medal and Program Medals: The Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management will award the University Gold Medal to the graduating student who has achieved the highest grade point average of all graduating students.
- Degree With Distinction: Awarded to students who graduate with a cumulative Degree GPA of 3.8 or higher.
