Introduction to the Faculty of Arts

The program includes a Single or Double Advanced Major, a Minor, and elective courses. Students must also complete a minimum of 42 credit hours outside their Major and Minor subject fields.


Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree

The Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree is a four-year program that requires students to complete a minimum of 120 credit hours. The program includes an Honours subject, a Minor, and elective courses. Students must also complete a minimum of 60 credit hours at the University of Manitoba.


Admission Requirements

Admission to the Faculty of Arts requires a minimum of 24 credit hours of university-level coursework and a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher. Students who have completed a degree from another institution may be eligible for admission to the Faculty of Arts.
