Training Opportunities

Our small program size allows for more flexibility, a better learning experience, and less competition between trainees. Students have access to strong training in both pediatric and adult clinical infectious diseases, with direct involvement in public health/policy by residents. Learn from world-class clinicians and researchers, with expert instructors teaching clinical services at two renowned teaching hospitals, and microbiology and epidemiology training at four state-of-the-art laboratories.

Research Opportunities

Access excellent research opportunities, with strengths including global health and antimicrobial resistance. Get involved with National Microbiology Laboratory (NML) research projects and education sessions or collaborate on research projects with the NML.

Program Details

Complete residency details, including program curriculum, application requirements, and selection criteria can be found through the Canadian Resident Matching Service.
