Program Overview
Elicitation & Collaboration Course
The Elicitation & Collaboration course addresses tasks that business analysts will perform to obtain information from and manage collaborations with stakeholders. It explores a variety of techniques for performing elicitation and collaboration activities. It also examines ways of overcoming challenges when applying these techniques in real-world business situations. Methods for testing and confirming elicitation results are also addressed.

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
- Define the scope of BA elicitation activity
- Determine the supporting materials and resources required for elicitation and collaboration
- Select tools and techniques that will strengthen elicitation and collaboration efforts
- Develop a framework for improved stakeholder collaboration
- Contrast planned and unplanned elicitation and collaboration approaches
- Apply best practices in managing and maintaining stakeholder engagement and commitment
