Program Overview

Student Exchange Program

The University of Manitoba offers a student exchange program through the International Centre, allowing students to receive credits toward their degree while spending one or two semesters in a different country.

About the Program (Outbound)

The student exchange program enables students to see the world while earning credits toward their degree. Through partnerships with over 50 international institutions in more than 20 destinations, UM students can pay regular tuition to the University of Manitoba while studying abroad and usually receive credits for courses taken at partner universities.

  4. Calculate approximate costs: Estimate living and travel expenses, as well as university-related costs.
  5. Complete the online application: Submit the application through the UM application portal.
  6. Submit two reference forms: Provide one academic reference and one professional reference.
