Introduction to the Fellowship in Digital Restorative Dentistry (FDRD)
The Faculty of Dentistry Universiti Malaya (FoDUM) offers a comprehensive one-year fellowship in Digital Dentistry, designed for dentists and clinicians seeking specialised training in digital workflows, Prosthodontics, implant planning, and more. Digital Dentistry is a rapidly evolving field that integrates advanced digital technologies with conventional dental practices to improve patient outcomes, streamline workflows, and enhance the precision of treatment.
Programme Overview
The FDRD programme will provide fellows with hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art digital dentistry environment, incorporating exposure to:
- Intraoral scanning
- Computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM)
- 3D printing
- Other cutting-edge tools
Our faculty comprises leading experts in Digital Dentistry, with extensive clinical and research experience.
