Bachelor of French Language and Linguistics
General Programme Information
The Bachelor of French Language and Linguistics programme aims to produce graduates who master language and linguistics, especially in the field of French, and are capable and competitive in their careers. The programme focuses on developing critical thinking, information management, and leadership skills, as well as ethical values and community responsibility. Upon completion of 125 credits of studies, students are awarded the Bachelor of French Language and Linguistics degree.

- Joining the Double Degree Programme at the Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales (INALCO), Paris, for the Bachelor of World Languages, Cultures and Societies with specialization in Didactics in French as a Foreign Language (FLE).

Course Structure
The programme is offered on a full-time basis and takes 7 semesters to complete.
Programme Structure (125 Credits)
- Core Courses (93 credits): Faculty Core Courses, Programme Core Courses, Final Year Project, Industrial Training.
- University Courses (12 credits): Philosophy and Current Issues or Basic Malay Language, Appreciation of Ethics and Civilisations, Basic Entrepreneurship Culture, Co-curriculum, English Communication or Foreign Language Courses.
- Elective Courses (20 credits): Open Elective, Student Holistics Empowerment (SHE).

The programme has one intake per academic session, which is in October.
