Bachelor of Islamic Education
Programme Goal
The Bachelor of Islamic Education program aims to produce graduates who practice the knowledge, methods, and moral values of a teacher individually or in groups in building critical and creative thinking skills to fulfill their responsibilities to professional and community teaching.

Entry Requirements
The entry requirements for the program are as follows:
- STPM (Current Year)
- Pass STPM with a minimum CGPA of 3.00
- Obtain at least Grade B in STPM level for the subjects of Syariah/Usuluddin and Bahasa Arab
- Pass Mathematics at SPM level
- Obtain at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from semester 1, 2021, or Band 2 for examinations until 2020, according to the validity period on the application date
- Pass the Malaysian Educators Selection Inventory (MEdSI) test and interview
- Matriculation/Asasi (Current Year)
- Pass the Asasi Pengajian Islam (Universiti Malaya) with a minimum CGPA of 3.00
- Pass Mathematics at SPM level
- Obtain at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from semester 1, 2021, or Band 2 for examinations until 2020, according to the validity period on the application date
- Pass the Malaysian Educators Selection Inventory (MEdSI) test and interview
- STAM (Current Year)
- Obtain at least a Jayyid Jiddan grade at the Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) level
- Obtain at least Grade B at the SPM level for any two of the following subjects:
- Bahasa Arab / Al-Lughah al-'Arabiah al-Mu'asirah / Turath Bahasa Arab
- Pendidikan Al-Quran dan Al-Sunnah / Maharat al-Quran / Al-Syariah / Turath Al-Quran wa Al-Sunnah
- Pendidikan Syariah Islamiah / Hifz al-Quran / Usul al-Din
- Tasawwur Islam
- Pass Mathematics at SPM level
- Obtain at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from semester 1, 2021, or Band 2 for examinations until 2020, according to the validity period on the application date
- Pass the Malaysian Educators Selection Inventory (MEdSI) test and interview
- Diploma/Equivalent
- Requirement 1
- Possess a Diploma in the field of Pengajian Islam or a related field recognized by the Malaysian Government and approved by the University Senate with a minimum CGPA of 3.00
- Obtain at least Grade B at the SPM level for the subject of Bahasa Arab / Al-Lughah al-Arabiah al-Mu'asirah / Turath Bahasa Arab and at least Grade B at the Diploma level for the subject of Bahasa Arab
- Pass Mathematics at SPM level
- Obtain at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from semester 1, 2021, or Band 2 for examinations until 2020, according to the validity period on the application date
- Pass the Malaysian Educators Selection Inventory (MEdSI) test and interview
- Be not more than 30 years old at the time of application
- Requirement 2
- Pass STPM (not current year) with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 and obtain at least Grade B at the STPM level for the subjects of Syariah/Usuluddin and Bahasa Arab
- Pass Mathematics at SPM level
- Obtain at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from semester 1, 2021, or Band 2 for examinations until 2020, according to the validity period on the application date
- Pass the Malaysian Educators Selection Inventory (MEdSI) test and interview
- Be not more than 30 years old at the time of application
