Program Overview
Bachelor of Dance
The Bachelor of Dance programme aims to produce graduates who are proficient and skilled in the professional practice and academic study of dance. Students study western and non-western dance techniques, choreography, dance notation, and dance education with a particular emphasis on Malaysian dance, offering a well-rounded multi-cultural and cross-cultural dance education at the tertiary level.

Course Structure
Students must complete a total of 127 credits to be awarded the Bachelor of Dance. The programme is to be completed in three academic years, including 6 Normal Semesters and 1 Special Semester.

- STPM (Current Year)
- Obtain at least a CGPA of 3.00 at the STPM level
- Obtain at least Grade B- in any two subjects at the STPM level
- Obtain at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the examination starting session 1 of 2021 or Band 2 for the examination until 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application
- Pass audition and interview
- Matriculation / Foundation (Current Year)
- Obtain at least a CGPA of 3.00 at the Foundation/Matriculation level
- Obtain at least Grade B- in any two subjects at the Foundation/Matriculation level
- Obtain at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the examination starting session 1 of 2021 or Band 2 for the examination until 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application
- Pass audition and interview
- Diploma / Equivalent
- Possess a Diploma from a Public University/IPTA/ILKA/Polytechnic/IPTS or other qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia and approved by the University Senate with at least a CGPA of 3.00
- Obtain at least Grade B- in any two subjects at the Diploma level
- Obtain at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the examination starting session 1 of 2021 or Band 2 for the examination until 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application

- Obtain at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the examination starting session 1 of 2021 or Band 2 for the examination until 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application
- Pass audition and interview
- GCE A-Level
- Possess a recognized GCE A-Level qualification
- Obtain at least Grade B- in any two subjects at the GCE A-Level qualification
- Obtain at least Band 2.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for the examination starting session 1 of 2021 or Band 2 for the examination until 2020 according to the validity period on the date of application
- However, applicants who do not possess a MUET but possessed the following results may be considered for a conditional offer with the fulfillment of the MUET requirements within the duration of one academic session:
- Obtained at least Band 4.5 (Academic) in IELTS
- Obtained at least 33 points in TOEFL iBT (Centre-based)
