Master of Built Environment [by Research]
The Master of Built Environment [by Research] is a postgraduate program that offers students the opportunity to conduct research in their area of interest or specialization. This program provides students with the benefits of exposure to research in their particular areas of interest or specialization and the acquisition of an understanding of a body of knowledge in the respective area of specialization.
Program Structure
This Master's program is purely based on individual supervised research. Candidates will be exposed to a Research Methodology Course to strengthen their research knowledge. At the end of the candidate's study, a dissertation must be submitted, and upon successful defense of the dissertation, the candidate will be awarded a Master's degree.
Program Requirements
- All research proposals must be approved and supervised by the Faculty.
- Candidates are required to complete their studies within 8 semesters.
Program Outcomes
Upon completion of the program, students will have acquired an in-depth understanding of their area of specialization and developed advanced research skills. The program is designed to produce graduates who are equipped to make significant contributions to their field of study.
