The Liberal Arts Deepening Program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in the liberal arts, allowing them to explore various fields of study and develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The program is structured to enable students to freely combine courses and create their own personalized curriculum. However, to obtain a diploma, students must follow a specific course of study, which is outlined below.

Course Models

There are four course models available, each catering to different student interests and goals:

• Balanced Course Model: This model allows students to take a variety of courses, including:

  • Basic Seminar in the Liberal Arts VI: "Techniques for Conveying Information"
  • Comprehensive Seminar in the Liberal Arts I: "Niseko Field Study"
  • Science Literacy Basic Seminar II: "Dealing with Uncertainty"
  • Science Literacy Basic Seminar III: "Introduction to Digital Creativity"
  • Career Management Seminar
  • Generic Skill Special Seminar I: "Career Formation"
• In-Depth Course Model: This model focuses on in-depth study of various fields, including:
