Introduction to the MILLA ArtLab Program
The MILLA ArtLab program is a first-level master's degree offered by the Scuola IaD - Area Lettere e Filosofia, with a duration of one year and 60 credits.
Program Overview
The program aims to provide specialized artistic and professional competencies in the field of literature, graphic arts, and entertainment. It focuses on the relationships between literature and other arts, with three specific areas of study: graphic arts, theater, and cinema and audiovisual.
Program Objectives
The program's objective is to enable students to develop theoretical and practical skills directly in laboratories and printing houses, allowing them to acquire knowledge of traditional techniques that have characterized the evolution of graphic arts. Students will also gain experience in theaters and recording studios, enabling them to concretely experience theatrical and audiovisual production.
Program Structure
The program includes laboratory activities, printing houses, and spaces for theatrical and audiovisual production, which are essential for research, experimentation, and the realization of creative projects. These activities represent the final stage of the study program, where students verify their knowledge and skills through the creation of an artistic work.
Admission Requirements
The program is open to graduates who have obtained a diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts, the Academy of Dramatic Art, or the Experimental Center of Cinematography, as well as those who have obtained a degree in Italy or abroad in the fields of Letters and Philosophy, Cultural Heritage, Architecture, Design, and Arts, and Communication Sciences.
- The eligibility of degrees in other disciplines is determined by the Master's teaching staff.
- The equivalence of other academic titles, obtained in Italy or abroad, is established by the Didactic-Scientific Committee of the Scuola IaD, upon proposal by the Master's teaching staff.
- Admission to the program is determined by the Master's teaching staff based on the evaluation of the candidate's curriculum vitae and verification of their knowledge, skills, and experience in the field of graphic arts.
Auditors and Single Course Enrollment
Auditors are allowed to attend the program, up to a maximum of 20% of the participants. It is also possible to enroll in single courses, with a minimum of 8 CFU, provided that the same academic title required for enrollment in the entire program is held.
Program Outcomes
The program enables students to exercise professional activities in the field of artistic communication, theater, and audiovisual production, both in freelance creative professions and in the organization, production, and management of cultural and artistic events.
