Introduction to the Master's Program

The Master's program in "La scuola in ospedale e l'istruzione domiciliare: tra professionalit‡ e didattica di cura" - "Hospital and home schooling: between professionality and healthcare facilities" is a second-level Master's degree offered by the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". The program lasts for one year and is worth 60 CFU.

Program Description

The program aims to provide teachers with the knowledge and tools necessary to carry out didactics in hospitals and/or home schooling, with a strong focus on the National Health Service. The program is designed to help teachers develop the skills needed to adapt to different contexts and situations, promoting flexible educational models and relational approaches.

Program Objectives

The main objective of the program is to provide teachers with the necessary training to work in hospital schools and home schooling, taking into account the specific needs of students with illnesses or disabilities. The program also aims to promote a culture of individualized planning, centered on the student.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must hold a second-level degree or an old-system degree. Non-EU students residing in Italy with a regular residence permit for work or study purposes are also eligible to apply. The admission requirements must be met at the time of enrollment, before the start of the program.
