Program Overview

The University of Rome "Tor Vergata" offers a training course in "Active and Parity Citizenship. The deconstruction of social stereotypes to prevent and combat gender violence".

Objectives

The course aims to focus on the development of active and parity citizenship, with a consequent reduction of sexist beliefs and attitudes, which are the effect of cognitive biases and gender stereotypes that, not recognized for their sociocultural normalization, guide discriminatory actions towards women in a non-conscious way.


Admission Requirements

To participate in the admission selections, candidates must follow the online procedures provided for in Article 4 of the Annexed Notice by February 10, 2022. The list of suitable candidates will be published on the course's web page by February 14, 2022. Admitted candidates can proceed with enrollment by February 28, 2022.


Enrollment in Single Modules

Starting from February 3, 2022, it is possible to enroll in individual modules of the training course (up to a maximum of 3), as reported in Article 5 of the Notice, following the procedure published in the annex.
