The University of Rome "Tor Vergata" offers a training course in "Active and Parity Citizenship. The deconstruction of social stereotypes to prevent and combat gender violence".

Objectives

The course aims to focus on the development of active and parity citizenship, with a consequent reduction of sexist beliefs and attitudes, which are the result of cognitive biases and gender stereotypes that guide discriminatory actions towards women.

Target Audience

The course is open to a minimum of 30 participants.

Course Content

The course will cover the deconstruction of social stereotypes to prevent and combat gender violence, including physical, psychological, and economic violence, as defined by the Istanbul Convention.

Organization

• The course is organized by the Department of Literary, Philosophical and Historical-Artistic Studies.
