SmaLog Degree Curricula

The SmaLog degree curricula specialize in various aspects of transportation, including passenger transportation, freight transportation, traffic flows, and smart transport.


Specializations

  • Passenger Transportation: This specialization is offered by the Silesian University of Technology (PL) – P9, Polytechnic National University – P4, Zhytomyr State Technological University – P5, and Georgian Technical University – P7.
  • Freight Transportation: Universities offering this specialization include the University of Rome Tor Vergata (IT) – P1, O. M. National University of Urban Economy – P3, Polytechnic National University – P4, and Batumi State Maritime Academy – P8.
  • Traffic Flows: The University of Applied Sciences Technology, Business and Design (HSW; DE) – P11, Zhytomyr State Technological University – P5, National Transport University – P6, and Batumi State Maritime Academy – P8 are involved in this specialization.
  • Smart Transport: This area is covered by the University of Rome Tor Vergata (IT) – P1, University of Rome "Sapienza" (IT) – P2, O. M. National University of Urban Economy – P3, National Transport University – P6, and Georgian Technical University – P7.

Industry Sector

The Institute of Market Problems and Economic & Ecological Researches of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine – P10 is responsible for the industry sector.


Support for Employability

OOO System Service (P12) in Ukraine and the Batumi Autotransport Ltd (P13) in Georgia support the addressing of employability for expected graduates, offering possibilities for hosting SmaLog students and staff for experimentation and putting diploma results into practice. They also support the implementation of the innovative living laboratory approach and cooperate in dissemination and exploitation activities.


Working Groups

The following working groups are established:


  1. WG 1: Master Programme preparation and development, which includes:
    • WG1/passenger – Passenger Transportation: Led by P4 (LPNU, UA); members include P7 (GTU, GE), P5 (ZSTU, UA), and P9 (SUT, PL).
    • WG1/freight – Freight Transportation: Led by P1 (UNITOV, IT); members include P3 (NUUE, UA), P4 (LPNU, UA), and P8 (BSMA, GE).
    • WG1/traffic – Traffic Flows: Led by P6 (NTU, UA); members include P8 (BSMA, GE), P11 (HSW, DE), and P5 (ZSTU, UA).
    • WG1/smart – Smart Transport: Led by P3 (NUUE, UA); members include P1 (UNITOV, IT), P2 (UNIROMA1, IT), P6 (NTU, UA), and P7 (GTU, GE).
    • INDUSTRY sector: Led by P10 (IMPEER, UA); members include P13 (BATAUTO, GE).
  2. WG 2: Improvement of study infrastructures at Partner Country (PC) Universities, including dissemination and exploitation. Led by P5 (ZSTU, UA); members include P3 (NUUE, UA), P4 (LPNU, UA), P6 (NTU, UA), P7 (GTU, GE), and P8 (BSMA, GE).
  3. WG 3: Development International Quality Assurance System (IQAS). Led by P1 (UNITOV, IT) and P2 (UNIROMA1, IT); member includes P10 (IMPEER, UA).
