Introduction to Zhytomyr State Technological University

Zhytomyr State Technological University is a higher educational institution of the fourth accreditation level. It comprises five faculties: the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Information-Computer Technologies, the Faculty of Economics and Management, the Faculty of Mining and Ecology, and the Faculty of Auditing and Finance.

Academic Programs

The university offers 25 specialties for full-time and part-time students, with a total of 4671 students. The teaching staff consists of 311 people, including 35 teachers with the degree of Doctor of Sciences and 153 with the degree of Candidate of Sciences.

Department of Automobiles and Transport Technologies

The Department provides training in the specialties "Automobiles and Automobiles Management" and "Transport Technologies." It introduced a specialization/module in "Intelligent Transport Systems" (ITS) within these specialties. The Department has modern labs for ITS and Mechanics of Technical Systems.

Research and International Activity

ZSTU has agreements on cooperation in education and science with 85 foreign higher educational establishments from more than 30 countries. It participates in international programs offered by the EU, including the completion of 9 Tempus Projects, one Erasmus Mundus Project, and the ongoing Erasmus+KA107 "International Credit Mobility" Project with 13 EU universities.
