Introduction to the University Program
The university program is designed to foster international collaboration and knowledge sharing in the field of agricultural green development. The program is tailored to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the latest research and innovations in the field.
Program Details
Course Time
The course will take place from June 29, 2025, to July 12, 2025. The first part of the course, from June 29 to July 8, will include lectures and field trips. The second part, from July 9 to July 12, will be a workshop on "Plant-Soil-Microbe Interactions in Green Crop Production."
Application Requirements
To be eligible for the program, applicants must:
- Be doctoral students conducting research in agricultural sustainable development
- Possess a strong foundation in agronomy and excellent academic performance
- Have proficient English language skills
- Be interested in the course content and have an open mindset and good teamwork skills
- Be able to attend all course activities
Application Materials
Applicants must submit the following materials:
- Application form (available as a downloadable attachment)
- English language proficiency certificate
- English resume and letter of recommendation
- Scanned copy of student ID or admission letter (or a screenshot of the admission list for 2025 doctoral students)
- 1-2 personal photos
Application Procedure
Applicants should submit their application materials in a compressed file to the designated email address. The file name should be in the format "Application for the 2nd International Summer School on Agricultural Green Development - Name.zip."
Application Deadline
The application deadline is May 29, 2025.
Selection Notification
Selected applicants will be notified via email on June 2, 2025.
Registration and Fees
Participating students are required to pay a registration fee of 2,500 yuan, which covers the cost of field trips, accommodation, and course materials in Gansu. The fee does not include food and accommodation expenses in Beijing or domestic travel expenses.
Additional Information
- The course is expected to enroll around 15 Chinese doctoral students, and the teaching team will select applicants based on their application materials.
- Students who complete the course will receive 2 credits.
- Participants are required to create a poster introducing themselves, their research area, and their interest in the course.
- The course will be taught by 7 international experts in agriculture and 4 teachers from China Agricultural University. Some course content will be notified to students via email, so please check your email regularly.
