Introduction to the Sino-Brazilian Joint College
The Sino-Brazilian Joint College, established by China Agricultural University and the University of São Paulo, is a landmark institution in the history of educational cooperation between China and Latin America. The college aims to cultivate world-class agricultural technology and management talents, promoting China's agricultural cooperation with other countries and fostering international cooperation in agricultural science and industry.
Program Overview
The Sino-Brazilian Joint College offers two master's programs: Agricultural Science and Technology (with a focus on crop science and seed industry) and Public Management (with a focus on international organization and social organization management).
Agricultural Science and Technology Program
- Program Objective: To cultivate internationalized innovative technological and management talents in the seed industry, with a global perspective and professional knowledge in crop science and seed technology.
- Program Features: The program includes courses such as Genetics and Breeding, Physiology of Crop Yield, Statistical Methods for Crop Genetics and Breeding, and Seed Quality Testing. Students will participate in a 6-month internship at the Sino-Brazilian Science and Technology Park in Brazil or related bases, accumulating practical experience and professional skills.
- Admission Requirements: Applicants must meet the admission requirements for China Agricultural University's master's program in Agricultural Science and Technology and pass an English language proficiency test.
Public Management Program
- Program Objective: To cultivate high-level, application-oriented talents in international public affairs management, with a focus on international organizations, social organizations, government departments, and transnational corporations.
- Program Features: The program includes courses such as Public Management, Public Policy Analysis, Social Research Methods, and International Organization Management. Students will participate in a 6-month internship at the Sino-Brazilian Science and Technology Park in Brazil or related bases, accumulating practical experience and professional skills.
- Admission Requirements: Applicants must meet the admission requirements for China Agricultural University's master's program in Public Management and pass an English language proficiency test.
Tuition Fees
- Agricultural Science and Technology Program: 60,000 CNY per year
- Public Management Program: 300,000 CNY per year
Degree Awarding
Graduates will be awarded a master's degree from both China Agricultural University and the University of São Paulo. The degree from the University of São Paulo will be recognized by the Chinese government.
