Program Overview


Program Details

The program is an atelier for sound recording, also known as "Rťgie Sonore," which is free and open to all students of Aix-Marseille University.


Profile and Requirements

  • The program is looking for motivated and interested students in sound recording techniques, preferably with experience in this field.
  • Students must commit to the program for a semester, with the possibility of renewing their participation from one semester to another.

Program Structure and Schedule

  • The program takes place at the end of semesters and during the JACES (Arts and Culture week in April 2025).
  • Additional meetings and post-production sessions will be organized throughout the semester.
  • The program will be held at the Egger site or other locations depending on production projects.

Time Commitment

  • Students are expected to dedicate approximately thirty hours to the program, including preparation, mounting and dismantling of platforms, and potential post-production work.

Application Process

  • Students must submit a letter of motivation outlining their interest, experience, and technical skills.
  • After reviewing the applications, candidates will be auditioned by the program's leadership team to form the technical team for the semester.

Leadership and Supervision

  • Technical supervision will be provided by David Bťchu.
  • Pedagogical supervision will be provided by Sylvain Brťtťchť.

Additional Information

  • The program is eligible for the "Bonus Culture" award.
  • The program focuses on sound recording techniques, including live sound management, stage management, mounting and dismantling of platforms, and post-production mixing.
