Introduction to the License Professionnelle Métiers de l'Industrie: Industrie Aéronautique Program
The License Professionnelle Métiers de l'Industrie: Industrie Aéronautique is a professional license program designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the aeronautics industry. The program is offered by the Institut Universitaire de Technologie (IUT) and is certified ISO 9001 by the AFAQ since 2011.
Objectives
The program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of aeronautical techniques and technologies, as well as the skills necessary to manage projects, optimize processes, and ensure safety and navigability. The program also emphasizes the importance of language skills, particularly in English.
Public Visé
The program is designed for students who have completed a BUT/DUT in a relevant field, such as Génie Mécanique and Productique, Mesures Physiques, Génie Thermique and Energie, Maintenance Industrielle, or Génie Electrique. Students with a BTS in a technological or industrial field, such as Aéronautique, Maintenance Industrielle, Electronique, or Electrotechnique, are also eligible. Additionally, students who have completed a L2 STPI, DEUST, or CPGE may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Conditions d'Admission
Admission to the program is based on a review of the student's dossier and an interview. Students must have a Bac+2 degree in a relevant field or equivalent. The program is also open to students who have completed a VAE (Validation des Acquis de l'Expérience) or VAP (Validation des Acquis Professionnels).

The program is offered in a variety of formats, including formation continue, formation en alternance, and formation en apprentissage. The program is divided into five parcours:
- Motorisation Aéronautique
- Systèmes aéronautiques et spatiaux
- Pilotage Navigation aérienne
- Maintenance Aéronautique
- Technologie des aéronefs
Sites d'Enseignement
The program is taught at the IUT site in Gap, with some courses taking place at the aérodrome de Gap-Tallard.
