Objectives

The overall objective of the training is to ensure a high level of knowledge and ethical, disciplinary, didactic, and professional skills to work in schools or colleges and general, technological, or professional high schools. The progressive professionalization allows for the acquisition of a common professional culture for education and teaching professions, aiming to overcome the divisions between levels of education (primary and secondary) and between the specific missions of professions, while valuing their convergent and complementary objectives. The Competency-Based Approach prioritizes a results-based learning outcomes approach.

Profile of the Graduate in Terms of Competencies

• Take into account regulatory and institutional elements of the professional environment related to the responsibilities attached to the function.
• Mobilize relational, communication, and animation skills that facilitate transmission, involvement, and cooperation within the educational community and its environment.
• Master the French language.
• Master a foreign language at the B2 level.
• Organize and manage school life in the establishment.
• Mobilize the educational and pedagogical skills necessary for the implementation of diverse learning situations and support for students.
• Integrate the elements of digital culture necessary for the exercise of the profession.
• Analyze and adapt professional practice, taking into account the evolution of the profession, the work environment, and the evolution of research.
