Program Overview

The DESU Outils Numériques du Manager is a university program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct and succeed in major business transformations.


Objectives

The program aims to:


  • Acquire knowledge of tools for storing and processing company data, synthesizing and analyzing these data to gain a fine and prospective understanding of the company's situation.
  • Acquire methods for managing teams and projects focused on agility and change management.
  • Acquire skills in new communication technologies, particularly web technologies.

The program is open to students in initial and continuing education.


Structure and Organization

The program is offered in a diploma format (with validation of all modules without compensation) or ą la carte, with module-by-module registration not leading to the award of a DESU, unless all modules are validated within a period not exceeding 2 years (3 years maximum with a derogation granted by the teaching team).

  • Structuring and exploiting data using databases
  • Advanced data exploitation using functions for importing databases into a spreadsheet and using scripting languages
  • Agile methods
  • Definition of indicators for analyzing the company's situation

  • Advanced use of Excel
  • Use of Access, particularly SQL possibilities to allow greater versatility for the student
  • Use of Visual Basic for crossing Access/Excel data
  • Creation of dashboards using the aforementioned tools
  • Definition of indicators adapted to creating relevant dashboards
  • Exploitation of results in strategic terms
  • Project management
  • Change management
  • Creation of a showcase website (type Wordpress)
  • Analysis of traffic using dashboards
