Program Content

• The program covers various aspects of surgical interventions, including:
  • Preparation of the animal and anesthesia
  • Mastery and control of operative parameters
  • Proper conduct of analgesia using automated monitoring
  • Post-operative care
• Participants will learn and practice surgical techniques, including:
  • Laparotomy
  • Pedicular control
  • Venous and arterial dissection
  • Partial or total organ resection
• The program also teaches the principles of vascular and digestive sutures, as well as the closure of access routes, in accordance with best practices, to ensure the animal's survival and comfort.

Program Structure

• The program is presented in a face-to-face format, with a total duration of 34 hours.
• Each participant will have the opportunity to practice and perform surgical gestures under the supervision of an instructor, following the principle of "apprenticeship" in surgical teaching.
• The program is designed to provide participants with the time and support needed to perfect their knowledge and skills in an interactive and non-constrained environment.
