About Program

Program Overview

Option Métiers de la communication d'influence et du plaidoyer

The Option Métiers de la communication d'influence et du plaidoyer is a university program that primarily targets the communication of influence and strategic support for public affairs departments, particularly in organizations responsible for missions of general interest. This option relies on a set of active participants in European communication, territorial communication, political communication, and advocacy for missions of general interest.

Objectifs

The program aims to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to work in the field of communication and influence. It is proposed in initial training in the first year (Master 1) and in alternation in the second year (Master 2).

Quels étudiants ?

The training combines theoretical and practical courses, requiring a very good general culture and a very good mastery of written and oral expression. A good level of English is also necessary to project oneself into careers where the international dimension is central. Furthermore, the professional outlets in the field of public affairs and advocacy imply a strong autonomy of the recruited students and an ability to project themselves into complex professional environments.

The graduate will be able to:

  • Master the techniques and principles necessary for the development of public communication campaigns, electoral and/or advocacy
  • Prescribe and implement strategic recommendations for public and political decision-makers
  • Pilot and use decision-making tools such as information monitoring, influence strategy, writing alert notes, positioning, controversy analysis, strategic recommendations, media and web opinion analysis documents, and advocacy techniques

Quels métiers ?

The targeted positions are primarily mission manager positions (cabinets of public and private executives); communication director (political, institutional, influence, crisis communication); consultant and study manager (strategy, communication, consultation, media relations); and public relations and public affairs manager.
