Programme Overview

The Licence professionnelle M彋iers de l'industrie: industrie a廨onautique is a 60-credit programme offered by the Institut Universitaire de Technologie (IUT). The programme is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge required to work in the aeronautics industry, with a focus on maintenance and management.

Objectives

The programme aims to equip students with the necessary competencies to manage and maintain aeronautical systems, as well as to develop their skills in project management, optimization of processes, and cost control. The programme also focuses on the development of language skills, particularly in English.

Target Audience

The programme is designed for students who have completed a Bac+2 in a technical, technological, or industrial field, or equivalent. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and computer science.

Admission Criteria

Admission to the programme is based on a review of the applicant's dossier and an interview. The interview is conducted between mid-May and early September, and applicants can schedule an appointment through the e-candidat portal starting from late February.

Programme Structure

The programme is divided into two semesters, each with a combination of theoretical and practical courses. The first semester focuses on the fundamentals of aeronautics, including mathematics, computer science, and English. The second semester delves deeper into the technical aspects of aeronautics, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and propulsion.

Courses

The programme includes a range of courses, such as:

  • Mathematics and computer science
  • English
  • Communication and project management
  • Mechanics and thermodynamics
  • Propulsion and aerodynamics
  • Maintenance and management of aeronautical systems

Teaching Methods

The programme uses a combination of teaching methods, including lectures, tutorials, and project-based learning. Students also participate in internships and work on real-world projects to gain practical experience.

Assessment

Student assessment is based on a combination of exams, assignments, and project evaluations.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of the programme can pursue a range of career opportunities in the aeronautics industry, including:

  • Maintenance and management of aeronautical systems
  • Project management and optimization
  • Research and development
  • Technical support and sales

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees for the programme are 175 for initial training, with additional fees for registration and other expenses.

Research Areas

The programme is focused on the development of skills and knowledge in the field of aeronautics, with a particular emphasis on maintenance and management.

Further Studies

Graduates of the programme can pursue further studies in a range of fields, including master's degrees in aeronautics, engineering, or management.
