Programme Overview

The Licence Professionnelle Optique Professionnelle is a 60-credit programme offered by the Institut Universitaire de Technologie (IUT) in the domain of Sciences and Technologies.

Objectives

This programme aims to enhance the skills of opticians in areas such as vision examination, contactology, low vision, and child and elderly vision care. It also seeks to develop their paramedical and preventive activities in visual health.

Admission Criteria

Admission to the programme is based on a dossier review and individual interview. Candidates must hold a BTS Opticien Lunetier, a DU in physiological optics and optometry, or an equivalent diploma in a related field.
