Program Overview
Master Management et Administration des Entreprises
The Master's program in Management and Administration of Enterprises is designed to prepare students for careers in higher education and research, as well as consulting in the field of management sciences.
Objectives
The program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the latest research trends and methodologies in management sciences. It enables students to acquire the necessary skills to conduct research, collect and analyze data, and write research papers or consulting reports based on advanced research in the field.
Prerequisites
To be eligible for the program, students must hold a diploma of level Bac+4, Master 1 (240 ECTS), or equivalent (foreign diploma, VAE). The majority of candidates come from backgrounds in management and economics (universities and Grandes Ecoles), but the Master's program is also open to students from other disciplines, such as engineering schools, sociology, law, mathematics, philosophy, and political science.

Formation and Research
The program is affiliated with the Centre d'études et de recherche en gestion d'Aix-Marseille (CERGAM EA 4225). The "Recherche, études et conseil en science de gestion" track is oriented towards research training and aims to prepare students to conduct research in an international context. Students in this track can also choose to complete an internship with a research problem.
Competencies to be Acquired
This program allows students to acquire all the necessary competencies to pursue a doctoral thesis and specialize in one of the three specialties offered at the IAE Aix: (1) Finance, Audit, Control; (2) Marketing and Service Management; (3) Strategy and Human Resource Management. The training takes place from September to June, with the first semester dedicated to acquiring the theoretical and methodological bases necessary for a doctorate in management sciences, as well as elaborating the research project, and the second semester dedicated to specialized courses and the dissertation.
Teaching
The common core teachings (Semester 3) provide the theoretical and methodological foundations of research in Management Sciences. Individualized support for acquiring written and oral expression skills useful for the researcher profession is offered, as well as support for elaborating the research project. Students can also choose two "advanced research methods" courses that best match their research project.
