Program Overview

Master Qualité, Hygične, Sécurité

Parcours Compétences Complémentaires en Informatique (CCI)

Description

The Master's program in Quality, Hygiene, and Security with a focus on Complementary Competencies in Computer Science (CCI) is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in computer science, enabling them to pursue careers in various fields, including information systems management, IT project management, and software development.

Objectives

The program aims to equip students with the necessary skills to analyze, model, and solve complex problems using computer science techniques. It also seeks to develop students' abilities to work independently, think critically, and communicate effectively in both written and oral forms.

Prerequisites

The program is open to holders of a Master's degree in a scientific field or an engineering diploma obtained in France. All courses are taught in French.

Recommended Prerequisites

Students are expected to have a strong foundation in scientific research, critical thinking, and problem-solving. They should also be able to work independently and communicate effectively in both French and English.

Formation and Research

The program is affiliated with the Laboratory of Computer Science and Systems (LIS), which was established in 2018 through the merger of the Laboratory of Fundamental Computer Science (LIF) and the Laboratory of Information and Systems (LSIS).

Enrollment Options

The program is available in both initial training (FI) and continuing education (FC) formats.

Skills to be Acquired

Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:

  • Identify and implement appropriate computer science tools to solve complex problems
  • Analyze, model, and solve problems using computer science techniques
  • Design and develop technical solutions, including software applications
  • Use computer science tools for scientific calculations
  • Manage IT projects and systems
  • Communicate effectively in both written and oral forms

Internships and Projects

The program includes an industrial project unit in the second semester, where students work in groups to solve a concrete problem. Students also participate in internships from early April to late September.

Pedagogical Methods

Courses are taught through thematic days, with each day dedicated to a specific unit of study. The program also includes non-presentational units, such as project-based learning.

Professional Integration Rate

The program's professional integration rate is currently unavailable.
