Program Overview

Master Nanosciences et Nanotechnologies

The Master's program in Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and applications of nanoscience and nanotechnology. The program is divided into several tracks, including Nanoscale and Quantum Engineering.

Objectives

The primary objective of the Nanoscale and Quantum Engineering track is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to design and develop innovative projects in the field of nanosciences and nanotechnologies. The program aims to provide students with a solid foundation in the fundamental concepts of nanoscience, including the synthesis and characterization of nano-objects, nanomaterials, and nano-devices.

Conditions of Admission

To be eligible for the program, students must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as physics, chemistry, or materials science. A strong foundation in mathematics and physics is also required. Students must demonstrate a good understanding of English, as the program is taught in English.

Prerequisites

Students must have a solid understanding of the fundamental principles of physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Prior knowledge of nanoscience and nanotechnology is not required, but students must be willing to learn and adapt to new concepts and techniques.

Program Structure

The program is divided into two years, each consisting of two semesters. The first year focuses on the fundamental principles of nanoscience, while the second year is devoted to more advanced topics and specialized courses.

Courses

The program includes a range of courses, such as:

  • Introduction to Nanosciences
  • Quantum Physics
  • Condensed Matter Physics
  • Nanomaterials and Nano-objects
  • Numerical Simulations
  • Research Characterization

Research and Development

The program has strong ties with several research laboratories and institutes, providing students with opportunities for internships, research projects, and collaborations with industry partners.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of the program can pursue careers in various fields, including:

  • Research and Development
  • Industry
  • Academia
  • Government Agencies

Tuition Fees
