Program Overview
Génie Industriel et Informatique
The Génie Industriel et Informatique program at Polytech Marseille is designed to train engineers capable of designing, organizing, and optimizing production, supply, and distribution systems in industrial and service sectors. At the crossroads of management, productics, industrial computing, and automation, the training is based on a systemic and integrated approach to the industry of the future.
Objectif de la filière
The objective of the Génie Industriel et Informatique program is to train engineers who can meet the challenges of Industry 4.0: process automation, digitization, data exploitation, as well as integration of quality, agility, and social responsibility issues. Both technical and strategic, they act as conductors of industrial performance, guaranteeing smarter, more sustainable, and more connected production.

Double cursus
The program offers a double cursus option, allowing students to obtain a double degree: the Polytech Marseille GII engineering degree and the Master 2 in General Management from the Institute of Business Administration (IAE), or the Master 2 in Research from Aix-Marseille University.

- Enseignements par projets: The program includes various types of projects, such as Enseignement Pratique (EP), Micro-Projet (MP), Travail de Réalisation Technique (TRT), and Travail d'Application Industrielle (TAI).
- Stages: Students are required to complete three internships: a discovery internship in the third year, a research initiation internship in the fourth year, and a valorization internship in the fifth year.

Contrat de professionnalisation
Students have the opportunity to complete their final year of the engineering cycle in alternation under a professionalization contract with a rhythm of alternation.
Semestres d'études à l'étranger
The program offers the possibility of studying abroad for a semester, primarily in the 4th and 5th years, through bilateral agreements with international universities.
Stages à l'étranger
