The DiplŰme d'Universitť - Traitement de l'Information Mťdicale (DU TIM) is a university program designed to improve the knowledge of personnel in charge of medical information treatment. This program aims to enhance the efficiency of individuals working in the medical field, particularly in the context of hospital reforms, the implementation of hospital information systems, and activity-based pricing.

Conditions of Admission

The DU TIM program is open to:

• Secretaries and administrative agents with 3 years of seniority
• Healthcare professionals

Pedagogical Organization

The program is led by Professor Roch Giorgi and consists of:

• Theoretical teaching (122 hours)
• Practical training (35 hours)
• Tutoring using information and communication technologies

• Hospital environment and organization
• Legal and regulatory context
• PMSI and T2A
• Descriptive statistics
• Medical informatics and information treatment methods
• Reference systems, classifications, and nomenclatures
• Hospital information systems

Assessment of Knowledge

The assessment of knowledge includes:

• A written exam
• An oral exam
• The preparation and presentation of a thesis

Location and Capacity

The program is held at the Faculty of Medical and Paramedical Sciences in Marseille, with a maximum of 30 students.
