Introduction to the MSc 2 Management, Specialization Finance Management Control & Reporting

The MSc 2 Management, specialization Finance Management Control & Reporting, is a program designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge to play a crucial role in the interface between direction and operations within a company. This program is the result of close collaboration with the DFCG, the National Association of Financial Directors and Management Control.


Objectives

The primary objective of this program is to enable students to interpret financial and non-financial data, translate it into actionable insights, and effectively pilot a company's performance towards its strategic objectives. By integrating the MSc Finance, Management Control, and Reporting, students will be empowered to work as enlightened Business Partners.


Content

The program is built on three fundamental pillars:


  • An in-depth analytical and technical expertise, including cost analysis, budgeting processes, IFRS norms, RSE reporting, payroll management, etc.
  • Essential computer skills related to the profession, such as VBA, Excel, PowerBI, SAP.
  • Soft skills, focusing on the development of attitudes and behaviors adapted to professional life.

Conditions for Admission

To be eligible for direct entry into the 2nd year of the MSc, candidates must:


  • Hold a Master 1 degree or a diploma equivalent to 240 ECTS, or more. Scientific and engineering profiles are welcome in this program.
  • Or have an equivalent foreign diploma or validation of prior experience (VAE).
  • Justify significant professional experiences, international stays, and a very good command of French and English.

Application Process

The recruitment process is based on an online application file submitted through the university's website. The application dossier should include:


  • English language tests: TOEFL, TOEIC Listening and Reading, IELTS.
  • Optional but highly recommended: management test results (GMAT, GRE, TAGE MAGE, Score IAE Message), with a validity period of 3 years.
  • Information or documents related to the professional project, previous studies, internships, or positions held.

Admissible candidates will be invited to a motivational interview with a jury.
