Program Overview

Introduction to the Program

The East China Normal University (ECNU) and the University of Birmingham have established a 2+2 cooperative undergraduate program. This program aims to expand high-level cooperation in education, promote international exchange and cooperation in higher education, and explore new paths for international cooperation.

Program Overview

Students will spend the first two years at ECNU, completing general education courses, professional courses, and some language courses. After meeting the requirements, students can apply to enter the University of Birmingham to continue their studies for the next two years. Students can choose to study at the University of Birmingham's Edgbaston campus in the UK or the Dubai campus. Upon successful completion, students will be awarded a bachelor's degree from the University of Birmingham.

Program Requirements

• Students must complete all courses in the first two years at ECNU with a GPA of 80 or above.
• Students must meet the English language requirements, with an IELTS score of 6.5 or above (with no band less than 6.0).

Admission Requirements

1. Students must participate in the college's unified self-enrollment examination and interview, with a score of 60 or above (out of 100).
2. Students must meet the national college entrance examination requirements, with an English score of 110 or above (or an IELTS score of 5.5 or above).
3. International students must submit their high school graduation certificate before entering the program.

Tuition Fees

• Registration fee: 500 yuan (non-refundable)
• Domestic tuition fee: 82,000 yuan per academic year
• Textbook and material fees: based on actual purchase
• Other fees: accidental injury insurance (optional), military training uniform fee, military training base accommodation fee, and food fee (self-paid)
