Master of Education in Applied Sport Coaching Overview
The Master of Education in Applied Sport Coaching prepares professionals to help individuals, groups, and communities to maintain or improve their health status and athletic performance. Students gain a strong foundation in both the biological and social sciences.
Admission Requirements
In addition to Utah State University's admissions requirements, the Master of Education in Applied Sport Coaching program has additional requirements.
Graduation Requirements
All graduates, regardless of the type of degree, must satisfy University Studies general education and depth education requirements. The specific requirements are as follows:
- Total credits: 30 credits minimum
- Total credits C- or better: 20 credits
- Upper-division credits (6000 level or above): 20 credits
- USU credits (10 upper-division, 5 req. by major): 15 credits
- USU GPA: 3.0 or better
- Overall GPA: 3.0 or better
