The six-semester bachelor's program provides the basic knowledge and the scientific methods required to develop engineering solutions.

The Study Program at a Glance

Prior Knowledge

The more confident you feel in math and science, and the more you enjoy technical challenges, the better. You do not need any advanced courses in your school subjects. A high degree of independence and the ability to learn on your own, to follow up on teaching content, and to create an individual time plan are essential. In addition to your curiosity about technical issues, you should enjoy solving tricky problems and have a strong spatial imagination.

Admission Requirements

The bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering is open admission. Thus, enrollment is possible without an application procedure for each winter semester.

  • An 8-week pre-study internship is required for the program, which must be proven by the time the bachelor thesis is registered.
  • The Department of Mathematics offers a pre-university mathematics course for future engineering students.
