The university offers a variety of programs, including the Hochschulsport Bochum, which provides various sports courses.

Hip Hop Course

The Hip Hop course is an Afro-American dance style that trains the coordination of the body as well as the whole cardiovascular system with a lot of rhythm. In this course, students dance to the latest hip hop beats, as well as occasionally to pop, house, or R'n'B. The course includes varied choreographies filled with fun and power, and a high level of technique is also taught.

Course Details

• The course is part of the taster week, and taster sessions are possible in the first week of the program.
• There are two levels of courses:
  • A (Anf‰nger*innen): This course is for those who have no experience in hip hop. In addition to the choreography, basic knowledge of technique is taught.
  • fA (fortgeschrittene Anf‰nger*innen): This course is for anyone who already has some basic knowledge. In addition to the choreography, basic knowledge of technique is taught and repeated.

Course Fees

• The course fees vary depending on the student's status:
  • 35 EUR for students
  • 40 EUR for employees
  • 45 EUR for alumni
  • 55 EUR for external participants
