Diploma of University Studies

The Diploma of University Studies is a pathway to a bachelor's degree, designed to help students transition into university life while earning credits toward their future studies.


Overview

The Diploma of University Studies focuses on specialized units relevant to the course the student is interested in. Students will learn key skills and build knowledge that will help them succeed in their chosen pathway. The units studied in this course can also be credited into a Bachelor's degree.


Duration and Location

  • Minimum 1 Year, up to a maximum of 3 years.
  • Available to study as both part-time or full-time.
  • Locations: Cradle Coast, Hobart, Launceston, Online, Sydney.

Entry Requirements

  • Completed the TCE (or equivalent).
  • Completed at least one undergraduate unit (equivalent to 12.5 UTAS credit points).
  • Completed a minimum of four University Preparation Program units (equivalent to 50 UTAS credit points).
  • A completed VET Certificate III or higher.
  • If you have not successfully completed senior secondary, tertiary or TAFE/VET study, but have relevant work and life experience, you can complete a personal competency statement.
